About Carla

I'm Carla Hackett, a letterer, sign writer, and teacher based in Melbourne, Australia. My mission is to bring the warm, unique, human element of hand lettering to a world dominated by digital fonts and design.

I was taught by master letterer Barbara Enright and have collaborated with her to bring you an online course, books and lettering brushes so you can learn too. We also run workshops.

I use my lettering skills for many applications including signage, live lettering, murals and design.
